New Generations

New Generations became Rotary's 5th Avenue of Service in 2010. It provides people ages 12-30, the opportunity to be involved with Rotary. New Generations inspires youth to participate in something greater than themselves and offers them opportunities to serve. It opens up possibilities for the club to learn from their skills, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas.

Youth Exchange Program

The Rotary Club of Festival City has a long history of participation in the Youth Exchange Program. It is an aspect of our club that we can truly be proud of. This year our club provided 10% of the exchange students for the district.
Another program that we participate in is the Rotary Adventure in Citizenship Program. Every year, 220 outstanding youth meet in Ottawa to participate in tours of Parliament, briefings, discussions and debates, along with various meetings with political leaders and senior officials. They also get to get to know youth from different provinces and territories, who each come with their own unique story.
